Job Title: Technical Manager – Electromechanical

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager (Electromechanical) to oversee, manage, and optimize facility management operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, proven managerial experience, and a solid understanding of QHSE and regulatory requirements in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and supervise electromechanical facility management operations.
  • Oversee electrical, mechanical, ELV, BMS, and HVAC systems and ensure efficient performance.
  • Ensure compliance with QHSE standards, environmental regulations, and international facility management guidelines.
  • Coordinate with authorities (e.g., KAHRAMAA) to ensure all permits and certifications are maintained.
  • Manage maintenance planning, asset performance, and operational budgets.
  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Ensure full compliance with Qatar’s building maintenance standards.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and operational updates.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary technical teams and provide training when required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 15+ years overall experience.
  • At least 5 years’ experience managing comparable FM operations in the GCC.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree or additional technical diplomas are an added advantage.
  • Arabic & English – Mandatory (written & spoken).
  • Strong working knowledge of Electrical systems, Control systems, ELV systems, BMS systems, HVAC systems, and Electromechanical systems and applications.
  • Solid understanding of quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems and regulations.
  • Membership in professional bodies: IEE, RICS, BIFM, CIBSE or similar.
  • Grade A Certified Engineer approved by KAHRAMAA / relevant authorities (preferred).
